Alex Rodriguez may win MVPs, he may win gold gloves (haha yea right), but he will never win a World Series. Evident in 2004, the curse of the Bambino was passed on to the Yankees and is now the curse of A-Rod. The fans certainly don't deserve it. Do you see Red Sox fans booing whenever David Ortiz strikes out? I don't think so. One miscue by A-Rod and he appears at the top of the NYPD's most wanted list. That only lasts a few innings because when he hits a walkoff grandslam, he is once again the most beloved figure among Yankee fans. I basically just defined the term "bandwagon fan", or "Yankee fan", same thing.
So where did this curse come from? You may be wondering... I go back to game 6 on the ALCS, at Yankee Stadium when that coward hits a weak ground ball down the line and slaps the ball out of the glove of Bronson Arroyo. He was called out, the Sox won the game, and eventually the series. What was A-Rod thinking? We may never know...
