It was great. The worst loss in Yankee history. A Indian attack in the 22-0 rout of the pitiful NY Yankees. 22 runs, 22 hits and a big fat win for the Cleveland Indians. YANKEES LOSE!!!!!
Again, it was the Tribe who crushed the Yanks - despite the fact that New York had legends Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and other big names. Cleveland's stars included infielder Joe Sewell, who hit .323 that season. Ironically, the Indians finished 62-92 that year ... bad enough for seventh place but good enoug to crush the Yankees.
Another Babe Ruth team crushed. This time by Detroit 19-1. What else is there to say..... YANKEES SUCK
